Applications are read by the founder personally. We reply within seven working days — even to a decline. There is no automated tracker, no take-home programming assignment, no case-study exercise with fabricated data. The interview is one screening call, one deep-dive with the advisor whose role you would slot next to, and a paid working week with a real pilot property.
All roles are remote-EU with the understanding that boutique advisory work sometimes requires being on-property. Travel budget is expensed at the property's city rate, not benchmarked against enterprise per-diems.
01 · Boutique Hotel Advisor
Remote-EU with 60% travel · Paris / Amsterdam / Milan preferred base · reports to founder
You have run a boutique hotel between 20 and 80 rooms as a duty manager or General Manager for at least four years, in Europe, at a property that used SiteMinder or a comparable channel manager. You now want to advise other boutique properties rather than run one. Your week is scoping calls with prospective properties, two-week on-property residencies during pilot installs, and written pilot reports back to the advisory team. EU passport required because of the travel cadence. Working languages: English required, a second of French, Italian, Spanish, German or Dutch strongly preferred.
How to apply: write to careers@mindermod.org with the subject line "Boutique Advisor 2026" and a paragraph on the property you ran, its room count, the channel-manager stack, and one add-on you would remove from that stack today with the benefit of hindsight. Attach a CV as PDF.
02 · Integrations Engineer (Node.js + SiteMinder API)
Remote-EU · reports to Alessandro Bianchi, integrations lead
You have shipped production Node.js against at least one large hospitality or distribution API in the past three years — SiteMinder itself, Booking.com Connectivity API, Google Hotels, Amadeus HITT, or a comparable surface. You are comfortable holding a webhook idempotency conversation for an hour without checking your notes. You are less enthusiastic about greenfield architecture debates and more enthusiastic about writing the retry-logic module correctly the first time. This role owns the SiteMinder API wrapper that every module in the shortlist consumes, plus the integration-testing rig that runs each module against a shadowed staging SiteMinder tenant nightly.
How to apply: write to careers@mindermod.org with the subject line "Integrations Engineer 2026" and a link to a public commit or gist where you handled a hospitality-API edge case (rate-plan overlap, retroactive reservation edit, currency mismatch, etc.). No LeetCode round.
03 · Editorial Guide Writer
Remote-EU · hospitality background required · reports to editorial & pilot desk
You have worked in a boutique hotel for at least two years — front-desk, reservations, revenue, F&B or GM, no preference — and you now write. You do not write like a marketing agency; you write like the person who ran the shift last night and is explaining a small operational lesson to a colleague at another property. This role owns the advisory guides library and the case letters. Approximately six long-form guides per quarter, plus editing pilot-hotel case letters into publishable form.
How to apply: write to careers@mindermod.org with the subject line "Editorial 2026" and attach two writing samples of at least 800 words each on any operational hotel subject (does not need to be public). No portfolio site required.
04 · Fiscal Reviewer, EU Fiscal Composer product line
Remote-EU · French chartered accountant (expert-comptable) or equivalent · reports to Camille Dubois-Renard
You hold an expert-comptable qualification in France, or the local equivalent in Italy (dottore commercialista), Germany (Steuerberater), Spain (colegiado del ICJCE), Portugal (contabilista certificado) or the Netherlands (register accountant). You have handled accommodation-VAT edge cases for hospitality clients in the past three years. This role reviews every invoice template shipped by EU Fiscal Composer, signs off each country activation, and represents Hotelminder in exchanges with the tax authority when a template needs adjustment. Part-time (16 hours per week) with the option to grow to full-time as the fiscal product line expands to Austria and Belgium in 2027.
How to apply: write to careers@mindermod.org with the subject line "Fiscal Reviewer 2026" and a note on which EU jurisdictions you are qualified in, plus one recent accommodation-VAT issue you resolved for a hotel client.
